No Offense - Part Five - Forgiveness

NOTES:

Then Peter came up and said to him, Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?Jesus said to him, I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times. .

Matthew 18:21-22 (ESV)

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32 (NLT)

Everyone thinks FORGIVENESS is a lovely idea, until they have SOMETHING to forgive. - C.S. Lewis.

God has forgiven us of a DEBT that we ACCRUED against him that we would never be able to pay BACK.

How do I forgive?

  1. Thank GOD for FORGIVING you.
  2. Ask God: WHO do I need to forgive, and for WHAT?
  3. REPENT of your SIN of unforgiveness.
  4. Forgive each OFFENSE from your HEART
  5. SEAL it with a BLESSING.

Forgiveness is the LANGUAGE of Gods KINGDOM, and we have to learn it!

BOTTOM LINE: FORGIVE as you have been FORGIVEN.

THE CHALLENGE: Follow the STEPS.
